Katy joined Hollyport in 2020, and is a Vice Principal in the investor relations team in London. In her role she is responsible for building institutional client relationships and fundraising.
Katy spends substantial time meeting existing and prospective institutional investors globally to introduce and update them on Hollyport’s strategy. She also attends various conferences on behalf of Hollyport, talking to counterparties and peers to gather market updates. She oversees the creation of Hollyport’s materials for current and prospective investors.
Before joining Hollyport, Katy spent four years in the investor relations team at Coller Capital. Prior to that, she wrote corporate reports for listed companies at Emperor Design.
Katy holds a BSc in Economics and Politics from the University of Bristol. She also has an MA in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University, and is a CAIA charter holder. Katy has lived in both South Africa and the Netherlands.
Josh joined Hollyport in 2019, and is a Vice Principal in the investment team in New York. He originates, underwrites, and executes LP portfolio and GP-led transactions, taking a lead role within the project to form the investment thesis and mentor junior team members. Joshua also monitors existing investments, and reaches out to market participants for updates and industry intel.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Josh worked as a Senior Associate at NEPC in its Private Equity Research Group, where he was responsible for underwriting primary commitments to North America and Asia private equity funds and advising U.S. institutions on their private equity programs. Before that, he worked at Global Atlantic Financial Group within its Portfolio Risk Management team. This diversity helps him to bring differentiated views to Hollyport’s investment process.
Josh has a BSc in Finance and Economics from Boston College, Carroll School of Management, and is fluent in Korean. He’s also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder.
Having lived in Seoul, Shanghai, Philadelphia and Boston, Josh looks to travel to new locations around the world and spend most his time pursuing a broad range of outdoor activities.
Glenn joined Hollyport in 2019, and is a Senior Associate in the investment team in New York. He takes a leading role in project teams to originate and appraise LP and complex secondary transactions, using his network to discuss Hollyport’s strategy with market participants and identify attractive market opportunities. Glenn trains new joiners to the investment team, focussing on their development and the wider team communication.
Before joining Hollyport, Glenn worked as a Senior Associate at KPMG in the deal advisory department, where he was involved in financial due diligence primarily in mid-market transactions for both private equity and corporate clients, across all sectors.
Glenn obtained a BSc and a Masters in Accounting from Penn State University, and is a Certified Professional Accountant. In his free time Glenn enjoys playing golf (and any other competitive activity) and eating his way through the NYC restaurant scene!
Katy joined Hollyport in 2016 as Office Manager, and was promoted to Operations Manager in 2022 before becoming a Vice Principal in 2024. She works closely with all areas of the business on operational processes, managing the firm’s IT systems and cybersecurity and taking a lead role in maintaining and developing the CRM system.
As part of the administration function, Katy works alongside the office managers in London and New York to streamline support processes and coordinate policies across the company. She is currently expanding her management and leadership skills as part of her continued professional development.
Katy has a BA in Italian from the University of Bristol. In her free time she enjoys getting outside to run, cycle, or catch up with friends. She travels to Italy as often as possible, visiting her favourite places and discovering new ones.
Scott is a Vice Principal in our London office and heads up the Portfolio, Data & Analytics team. He joined Hollyport in 2018 as a Fund Accountant before carving out a niche for himself in analysis – eventually creating and building the Portfolio, Data & Analytics function at Hollyport. Scott and his team are focused on portfolio level data; the systems that obtain and store this data, and leveraging both internal and external data to provide insights to the wider company.
Scott has a Masters in Chemistry from the University of St Andrews, which included a placement year developing hydrogen fuel cell technology in Norway, following which he taught mathematics for two years prior to joining Hollyport. During his time at Hollyport, Scott has successfully studied for his ACCA qualification as well as a Bachelors in Applied Accounting.
Outside of the office, Scott is a grade 8 pianist and enjoys the outdoors and fishkeeping. His interests also include railways, cars, and anything old, mechanical, and oily.
Ronan joined Hollyport in 2018, and is a Senior Associate within the investment team in London. His core responsibilities are originating and evaluating potential LP and GP-led transactions, taking a lead role in the project team to mentor the investment associates and form the investment thesis for presentation at Investment Committee. Working at Hollyport has enhanced Ronan’s problem-solving skills, which are central to the way we approach transactions.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Ronan completed an accountancy training contract in the banking and capital markets assurance department at Ernst & Young.
Ronan studied Economics at the University of Nottingham, and holds an MSc in International Management from the London School of Economics. Outside of work, you’ll find Ronan playing and watching a variety of sports.
Alex joined Hollyport in 2018 and is a Senior Associate in the investment team in London. His main focus is originating, evaluating and presenting LP and GP-led transactions to the Investment Committee. He mentors junior investment team members and takes a lead on internal processes to originate deal flow from fund managers and vendors. In his time at Hollyport, Alex has improved his presenting and negotiating skills having learnt from the firm’s senior staff.
Alex graduated with a Masters in Mathematics from the University of Oxford and is a designated Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst. In his free time, Alex enjoys team sports – a skill which translates well into his mentoring role at Hollyport.
Prior to joining Hollyport, Alex started his career in the banking and capital markets audit and assurance department at PwC, where he obtained his ACA qualification.
